Well 2010 came and went. I had a great end to my year photographing Rachel and Jeff’s beautiful destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. What a wonderful way to end my 2010 and start out my 2011. Happy New Year 🙂
The Spring/Summer 2011 issue of the knot MICHIGAN has featured an image from Melissa and Matt’s wedding from last summer in a special section about Ann Arbor. I think it was only fitting that they use an image from their wedding, as I loved their intimate wedding and also, Melissa has recently launched her business, All About You Productions. If you are a bride and looking for someone to help you make your day the way you always dreamed, contact Melissa, I’m sure she can help your dreams become reality 🙂

congrats, dustin! how have you been?
Yet another artist I found on my The xx, Pandora station. They’re music makes me dance and smile and just act silly when I listen to them and therefore, they are high on my list of awesome musicians. Junior Boys music also varies quite a bit a times, but always has bit of keyboard magic and a great beat 🙂
Dull To Pause is my favorite track by them…so much so, it’s sort of my anthem or theme song.

In The Morning is also a classic, Junior Boys track…
Enjoy Junior Boys on Cyber Monday 🙂
Brittney and Chris are friends of mine and a super fun couple…there was a lot of laughter and joking around during their session, making it a lot of fun 🙂 We stuck around Ann Arbor for the session and used some of my favorite spots. Everything was shot on a Contax 645 and a 80 f/2 loaded with Fuji Pro400H and the processing and scanning was done by me at Arbor Photo Lab 🙂 I’m as much in love with these images, as Brittney & Chris are with one another…enjoy!

Agree with Gail. Love, love, love! I have several favorites but the whole bunch is gorgeous. 😀

This has got to be my favorite shoot that you’ve done. I love the warmth, mood and fun-ness! Plus, the film is just awesome!

Thanks Matt! My second favorite thing about film (after the look) is that I think I take better photographs as it forces you to really think about everything. I have a wedding Friday and have a box of the new Kodak Portra 400 I will be using on it 🙂 If you and Haley and baby want some film shots, I game 🙂
