I’ve known Sarah and her family for 10 years and it was so wonderful being able to document Sarah and Mike’s big day and see many, many familiar faces.  The day was truly a blast with some nice surprises and I’m so happy I was able to celebrate with everyone.  Thank you everyone for an unforgettable wedding and experience 🙂

Noah and the Whale are another great group a good friend of my turned me onto last summer.  I love to listen to their albums while I’m doing things around the house or the yard.  Their self titled album, is probably my favorite, but I also really enjoy their most recent album, “The First Days of Spring.” They have a new album that I’m looking forward to coming out next March.

Here’s a great way to experience ‘First Days of Spring.”  It is a film by Noah and the Whale and it’s a lot of fun.

Here’s one of my favorite songs by them…it’s such a fun song to listen to and it always puts a smile on my face 🙂 Enjoy “5 Years Time.”

Listening to Noah and the Whale makes life more enjoyable 🙂

  • Gail - Oh bestill my heart…I didn’t know you were a Noah fan!!!!! I just adore them! Do you know the back history with Charlie and Laura Marling? Sounding like a superfan here, but I’m a big fan of hers, so to know that the entire second album is an ode to Charlie and Laura’s break-up…WOW. One of the most beautiful break-up albums ever, fo sho.

    ‘Nother great pick Dustin!

PS – “Stranger” is one of my faves of that album. So much heartache in one song.

I had a wonderful time at Julia & Sam’s outdoor wedding.  A big thanks to my buddy Chris who came along and grabbed some sweet shots from their day with me.  Such an emotional day with tons of laughter and smiles and of course, a whole lotta love 🙂  A big shout out to Ana of Two Foot Creative for helping to make their day so great.

  • Mom (2) - Amazing as always. Such a sweet looking couple. Looked like a beautiful place to have a wedding. Loved her jewelry, was it a family heirloom? All beautiful!!

The Xx are a band that a good friend of mine turned me onto earlier this year and since then, I have listened to their album xx dozens and dozens of times and their Pandora station is by far my favorite and most listened to as well.  If you were to ask me what their music sounds like, I would simply just say, “Awesome!”  This is one of those albums where every single song could be a “single.”  Also, the song, “Intro,” has been used in a few commercials, so you might recognize it.

THIS is a great music…

Here is my favorite song from the album…I absolutely love it.  It’s titled, “Infinity.”

Here’s a music video for “Crystalised,” another awesome song.

I adore the Xx, so I just thought I’d share 🙂

  • Gail - PREACH IT Dustin! I am still bitter about missing them when they were in Bloomington earlier this year. 🙁 Would LOVE to see them in concert!

  • admin - They were here in May with jj as their opening act 🙂

  • e'lisa - Ohhhh…..I love this! I was looking for some new music today, and after listening to this, I might just be hook, line and sinker. Thanks for sharing Dustin!
