Courtney and Dave picked great great places for both their ceremony and reception…making for a picture perfect day.  A friend of mine, Alli McWhinney came along to help me document their day and in addition to some great shots, we both had a blast with everyone…thanks for helping me out Alli…you’ll notice a few shots of yours below.  The ceremony took place at the gorgeous St. Hugo with the reception following at one of my fav places in Birmingham, The Reserve.  Enjoy all the pics…

I had the pleasure of photographing Briana and Chris’ wedding in Charlevoix at Castle Farms.  The sun was shinning and I must say, Briana and Chris have some great friends and family, that really helped make their day rock.  As a little added bonus for their big day, they surprised everyone with fireworks at the end of the night…it definitely ended with a bang.  Thanks for a great evening you two.

  • Alli Mc - Another amazing wedding by Dustin! You are awesome! Beautiful photos!

So much I could say…I have know Sarah for about 10 years and am very happy to photographing her and Mike’s big day.  I’m also really happy with how easy and fun they are to photograph.  We stuck around Ann Arbor for the shoot and it really was a great time…it’s gonna be a fun wedding!

  • Gail - I was JUST getting ready to post “Are you shooting film now too? THese are GORGEOUS!” when I looked down and say your mention of your 120 film.

    Nice work!

  • Jessica - I can’t wait for the Cox Wedding!! Ahh!!! These pictures are so great!

Yesterday I shot my first roll of 120 film on my first medium format camera.  I took it to Arbor Photo Lab today to get it processed and scanned and here are the results.  I’m pleased with the results…shooting film and manually focusing was new for me, but a lot of fun and I’m really looking forward to doing some portraits with film.  You can’t beat the look of film…

  • Michael Escalera - LOVE this entire post! Fantastic job and the film looks great. Out of curiosity, what film stock and camera where you using? Take care!

  • ben - looks great! love the color you get with film!!

  • Wayne Toshikazu - Really, really love these, Dustin. Yay for film!!!

  • Nicole Haley - Oooh, love these! They’re so dreamy. 😀
