Lesley and Ben live in Cincinatti, but I am excited that that will all change in July, as they have both accepted jobs at the Univeristy of Michigan Hospital. Ben will be in the ER and Lesley will be in the ICU. Lesley went to Ohio State University, so she will literally be surrounded by the enemy…wait a minute, she married the enemy. That’s right folks, Ben is a Wolverine and Lesley is a Buckeye…I didn’t even know that was allowed, but you know what they say, “Love conquers all.”
The two said their vows at the gorgeous Polo Fields Country Club and the reception took place there as well. They did a wonderful job planning out all the details and their timeline rocked, so there was a lot of time for some awesome pics! Between the ceremony and reception, the bridal party went downtown to U of M’s campus to get some shots as well as have a little fun. The day was gorgeous and it had rained earier in the morning getting rid of the humidity as well…thank you mother nature.
My good friend and awesome photographer, Kelly Braman came a long to help document Lesley and Ben’s day and it was nice shooting with a person I talk to almost every day, but hardly get to see. Thanks Kelly…you rock!
All in all, it was such a fun day and even though I was “working” for 15 hours, I’m happy to say I wasn’t in that much pain the next day 🙂
I am so excited that they are moving closer to me, so we can hang out…they are my type of people. Thanks for letting me party with you and I can’t wait to hang out with you this summer! Enjoy your pics…
The dress…front and back. I kinda loved it, like A LOT!
These puppies had some pretty serious heels on them, but Lesley swears they are comfortable.
Ben, you gotta love your wife…she let that Michigan garder touch her skin for hours…
Hair.
Makeup by Bridal Beauty…
Exchange of gifts…
This necklace came wrapped up in a Tiffany blue box…I wonder where it’s from 🙂
Some of the ladies…I think they wanted that necklace…
Mr. Daper…
The cuff links were one of Ben’s gifts…
A note from his sweetie.
Seriously, one of my favorite images in a while…go ahead, try and not like it…I dare ya!
The fellas.
And the ladies…HOTT!
That’s one good looking Buckeye bride!
One of my fav parts of her dress…so classy.
If you know Lesley, you know this is her…love it!
Love this shoe shot.
I’m thinking he see’s his lady…
Yeah, he does 🙂
I always love when they first stand side-by-side, so much emotion!
It’s official, the Wolverines and Buckeyes, have joined forces. (Please don’t hurt me for saying that.)
If you know U of M, you know where this is.
Just for fun.
I still love this shot…
Cute:)
Smoochy, smoochy.
Just for you Lesley…sorry Ben 🙁 (Once again, please don’t hurt me.)
Horah!
Love the look on their faces.
I try and borrow the bride and groom during the reception when the light is all tasty and glowy and Sunday was no exception, although I do think we had extra tasty light…love these:)
Taking a few minutes away from the reception lets the bride and groom get a little alone time and more emotion comes out…I heart alone time.
I will end with my favorite. This was taken right after we got done when we were heading back into the reception and I just loved the way Ben was helping Lesley…I feel there is a lot of symbolism for their lives together in this shot. I am for sure ordering this…BIG!
