Last Sunday on a super chilly day, I drove to the Kalamazoo area onto Western Michigan University’s campus to photograph Melina and Jonathan. They got hitched last month and decided to go back to a place they spent many, many, many hours at together and apart. We shot mostly at the College of Engineering where both Melina and Jonathan had many classes as well as worked. The building was impressive to say the least and I think if you did a lap around it, it would be a couple miles. Melina and Jonathan’s interaction is so cute and it was nice to photograph a couple after being married. Jonathan has some of the greatest and most amusing faces and though Melina might give him crap for it sometimes, you know she loves him. On with the pics!
In the great words of Mugatu, “Kendall and Ryan, so HOTT right now.” That they are fashion genius, that they are! I met up with Kendall and Ryan in Northville at the much photographed Mill Race. It was my first time there and I can see why many people use it for all types of photos. We had great weather…it was nice and fall like with overcast sky’s, which most of the time I love because it shows the truest color and just looks awesome. Kendall and Ryan have to be some of the most photogenic people I have photographed and not only that, but they are so much fun and did I mention smokin’ HOTT. This is one of the three e-sessions I’m doing with them and I can’t wait for the winter session. I will warn you, there is a bunch of kissing…a bunch. Maybe this should be called just that, a kissing session. You can tell they adore one another and it was so cute to see their interaction from afar as well as up close. Thank you two so much for being so warm and fun to photograph, I feel so fortunate to be the one to tell the story of your wedding day. Enjoy the pics!

Last Thursday after hanging out and shooting with the ‘famous’ Kenny Kim, I met up with Tricia and Kevin downtown to shoot their e-session. It was a bit on the chilly time, so they had to keep taking their coats on and off, but we had a nice time. Right from the get-go, we got some great shots, thanks to Kevin’s crazy nice smile and a lovely ability to conceal stains on his shirt. It was nice to get to talk with them for a third time and get some of the camera jitters out so we can rock their wedding pics. The two are getting hitched next August a few miles away from downtown. It’s going to be oodles of fun and I really can’t wait to see them all fancified! Thanks you two!
