This evening I met up with Molly and Jon to do their engagement session.  Molly and Jon are my other June 21st couple.  We met at Timbertown in Chelsea with their 8 month old daughter Samantha (what a QT) for a few family pics.  We then made our way to downtown Chelsea by the Train Depot before heading to Molly’s parents house, out of town a few miles.  We got there right when Mr. Goldensun was peaking his head out.  We made good use of the light as well as the beautiful land on which Molly’s parents are plotted.  I chatted with Molly’s parents on their deck that over looks the gorgeous landscape…it was a lovely evening and I’m geeked for their wedding!

I had a fun engagement session tonight with one of my July couples, Jessica and Chris.  We started off at Pinball Pete’s, then ventured through the Diag to Starbucks.  It was nice chatting with the two of them and it really makes me look forward to their big day.  Jessica told me they invited 300 people.  I couldn’t help but laugh, I mean that’s a lot of people!  It’s going to be a blast, I can tell.  All in all, it was a relaxed and fun shoot.  I had a great time with the two of you and can’t wait to capture your wedding day!  Thanks for being so great!

I think you’re supposed to look at the screen when you are trying to shoot things…

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of taking some pictures of my friends Joe and Jamie’s daughter Ava Elise.  Ava was born on February 17th and I wanted to take some pictures of her (my first baby images) and also provide Joe and Jamie with some images with both of them in the pic.  Joe takes many images and is an excellent travel photographer; although he only does it as a hobby, but really, his images are quite stunning and he’s better than he thinks he is.  Joe and Jamie are one of those couples that you can’t help but love everything about them both individually and as a couple.  With parents like Joe and Jamie, Ava is going to grow up to become one truly awesome woman and I look forward to being able to see her grow and take on her parents traits, such as Jamie’s warmth and sincerity and Joe’s humor, and enjoyment for life.  Ava was looking around quite a bit during the session, I think maybe she was wondering why there was a different man there with a camera.  One things for sure, she’s definitely a cutie!

  • Ayesha - These are really beautiful. The 3rd image is so captivating.

Today I photographed a wedding alongside a friend and fellow photographer Jennifer Lynn.  It was great 2nd shooting with her and she got some absolutely killer shots…especially the end of the evening.  The ceremony took place at the large Ward Evangelical Church in the Chapel.  The reception was help at the crazy popular The Inn at Saint John’s in the Judea room.  All in all, it was a very lovely day.  Jennifer and Matt are so cute together and have been together since high school…it was nice to be a part of their big day.  On with the pics!

Details. details, details…
