Today was Kassy’s bestfriend Sara’s Bachelorette Party!  Sara marries Steve on the 21st of June…what I believe to be the number one booked wedding day of the year.  Naturally I am not allowed to go to such a party, but since it was partially held at my home, I was able to take a few quick shots before I had to skedattle.  I loved the details, so that’s all I shot was details, details, details…you gotta love them…they’re the glue of a party/wedding!  The ladies are doing many things this evening.  Pure Romance came to our house to show and sell some of their awesome products as well as play some games and have some good ‘ol fun!  It is currently 12:54am and the ladies are still out…no surprise there.  I received a text from Kassy at 12:30am that says, “Still going strong.”  I hope you all had/are having fun and congrats to the bride to be!  “Party On Wayne!”

Today is the second anniversary of my friends Ryan and Katie.  Ryan and Katie’s wedding was the very first official wedding I photographed and I couldn’t have imagined a better one to start off with.  I was going to see them last week, but something came up and we couldn’t get together.  I was hoping to show them the item pictured below (it starts with an A and sounds like shmalbum), as it just came in last week, but I’m sure they’ll get to see it soon enough.  Happy Anniversary Ryan and Katie…you guys rock!!!

On Sunday, I met up with Kathy and Joe downtown Ann Arbor for a quick engagement session.  Kathy and Joe are getting married on what I think is the busiest wedding day of the year…June 21st.  Kathy and Joe are such fun to be around and have such a great connection.  They have the type of personalities that are infectous and I couldn’t help but laugh all throughout the shoot.  Their wedding is going to be bunches of fun…I can’t wait!

We started out at the infamous Pinball Pete’s and walked through the Diag and ended up at the Law Quad.  Hopefully you get a feel for how much fun these two have together!

  • Rachael - I LOVE these! So good….as usual!

  • Alisha E. - Oh I just love it when couples have a GREAT time with each other! These are AWESOME. Love the colors! Love the images with the buildings!!!

I just got back from Erik and Rissa’s wedding.  Today was a gorgeous day to get married and what a gorgeous wedding it was!  The ceremony took place at Riverview Church of God in Riverview, MI and the reception was at the Crystal Park Banquet Center in Allen Park and was a terrific place for celebrating the union of Erik and Rissa.  I was the second photographer and there were also many videographers there, so it was really nice to be able to work with other imaging folk.

Congrats and Godbless Erik and Rissa!!!

Details!

A little father/daughter time before he has to give her away…

The grooms brother and bestman, Carl, chillin’ before the ceremony doing a little fret-work…

It’s all about those eyes!

One last look…

A little fun on the fabulous Belle Isle.

Ladies…

And Gents!

All together now.

Rissa had a difficult time takin’ her eyes off her husband…

I can’t blame her, as Erik is rather good-looking…

Erik was a big fan of the cake…BIG FAN!!!

During the reception, there were three videos showcased.  One was Erik and Rissa’s engagement video, one was their Love Story, which was a uber-cute documentary-style video on how they met and the final, was a short video from the wedding day, which one of the videographers, Tim, put together…it was AWESOME!!  Also, the videos had some of my favorite artists, The Fray and Feist!

I had a great time capturing your day Erik and Rissa…thank you for letting me be a part of it!

  • Rissa - We love you Dustin!
