Back on December 23rd, I went with some of my brothers, my dad, and my grandpa to a Detroit Lions game at Ford Field.  They played the Kansas City Chiefs and fortunately for us, they won, 25-20.  This was my third time going to Ford Field, but my first NFL game I’ve ever been to.  As a little added bonus, they had a tribute to Barry Sanders and some other former linemen from when Barry still was playing.  It was nice for just the men to hang out together and watch some football…especially during the holiday season.  It was a horribly bitter cold day, but that’s just the way it is here in Michigan.

All the men (minus me of course) walking around the tunnel before the game.  We got there really early, as you can tell.

Back in October, I went with some of my family to a place in Dexter, MI called Jenny’s Market. It was a lot of fun. They had so many things to do. There were dozens of families with small children there. There were goats, cows, chickens, donkeys, and horses. They had cider and delicious pumpkin donuts, that we had right before we took the hay ride. The ride was a little bumpy in parts, but was a lot of fun. My nephew Gavin had a great time and I hope we can go back next year. They had hundreds of pumpkins to chose from in many different sizes and they also had this amazing hay maze. The children could either climb on top of this giant mountain of hay, or go inside where they could go through a little maze. It was such a great place to go with family and I can’t wait to go back! And now for the pics!

For all you photographers out there, all these images were shot with a Canon 5D and a 50 f/1.4 lens wide open.  I love that combo!

  • Katie Beverley - These are so cool! Love the processing on these. Great work (:

  • Jared - Blog looks great! Hopefully the upgrade was easy.

Hi there ladies and gentlemen.  This is my first post on my new blog!  I’m new to the whole blog scene.  Not reading blogs…I do that daily, but maintaining my own blog.  I’ll be posting a few things from the past, but hope to have lots to post in the future, near and far.  I hope to be able to blog at least two times a week with the latest and greatest of what goes on in the wonderful world of Dustin!  I’m glad to finally be able to have a space to let all who are interested know what goes on in my life and more importantly, the images that are made.  Weddings and all other shoots will be top priority in getting posted as soon as I can after the event.  Thanks for taking a peek and come on back now, ya hear!
