Gail came to Ann Arbor last week and we met up for brunch, walked around the Arb a little and had a spot of tea afterwards.  Gail is a wonderful photographer from Indiana and has ridiculously good taste in tunes and flicks 😉  I snapped two pics of her when we were walking around the Arb…doesn’t she look great?!?

These were shot on my Contax 645 with 80 f/2 and the camera was loaded with Kodak Portra 400…processing and scanning done by yours truly:)

UPDATE: EVERYTHING HAS FOUND A GOOD HOME 🙂

I have a couple Mamiya 645 cameras and a few Mamiya lenses for sale.  I am selling them, because they don’t get used.  All gear is in EX+ condition according to KEH standards. If you know KEH’s conservative condition ratings, you know that means these are in great condition with very little signs of use.  All gear is in 100% perfect working condition.  Here is a list of everything I am selling.

Mamiya 645, Mamiya 645 Pro, Mamiya 645AF, Mamiya 80 f/1.9, Mamiya Camera, Mamiya Lens

•Mamiya 645AF | This is Mamiya’s first 645 camera with autofocus.  Included is the body, a back with one 120/220 insert, the dark slide, 80 f/2.8AF lense, lens hood, and front lens cap.  This camera was a direct competitor to the infamous Contax 645 and is a breeze to use.

Mamiya 80 f/1.9 N (x2) and Mamiya 80 f/1.9 C | Simply put, the fastest medium format lens ever made, which provides an amazing look.  I have front and rear lens caps for each lens.  Click HERE to see a session shot with this lens mostly wide open. I love this lens so much, I bought two of them, which are in identical condition…I have to look at the serial numbers to know which is which, but they perform the same.  I have one Mamiya collapsable rubber hood for this lens as well.  The hood definitely helps cut down extraneous light in certain shooting conditions.  The difference between the 80 f/1.9 C and N, besides the different look physically to the lens is the coating.  The N is coated and the C is not.  Due to no coating, the 80 f/1.9 C tends to have about 10-15% less contrast…still a great lens, just an older design.

Well 2010 came and went.  I had a great end to my year photographing Rachel and Jeff’s beautiful destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico.  What a wonderful way to end my 2010 and start out my 2011.  Happy New Year 🙂

Brittney and Chris are friends of mine and a super fun couple…there was a lot of  laughter and joking around during their session, making it a lot of fun 🙂  We stuck around Ann Arbor for the session and used some of my favorite spots.  Everything was shot on a Contax 645 and a 80 f/2 loaded with Fuji Pro400H and the processing and scanning was done by me at Arbor Photo Lab 🙂  I’m as much in love with these images, as Brittney & Chris are with one another…enjoy!
