June is a busy celebration month for many people close to me.  June 11, was (and still is) Kassy and her twin brother, Kennys birthday, so some of us got together at Bar Louie downtown Ann Arbor for happy hour.  It was good times.  We sat out back on the patio and chilled and stuffed ourselves on appetizers and drinks.  It was nice to get together in the middle of the week and enjoy one another’s company.  Yesterday, Kenny, our friend Kyo, and I went to the fabulous Melange also downtown for some sushi, other yummy items and some nice wine.  Once again, it was so nice and I will definitely be going to Melange more often.  I tried many things for the first time, including sushi and I have to say, I liked what I had quite a bit.  Kyo has a personal policy about food and other things in life that I admire; try everything TWICE.  Good times!  Happy Birthday to everyone with a June birthday!

Sunday, Kassy and I went to my cousin, Rose’s, graduation party in Stoney Creek. It was a great day to be at a park. There was a guy there doing caricatures of anyone who wanted one…it was awesome. We had to take advantage of this oppurtunity.  My dad and stepmom got theirs done as well and they’re hilarious.  Robert Bauer is with Goofy Faces and does a great job and is also very entertaining will he is working.  Goofy Faces has locations at the Toledo Zoo and others as well AND they will also do caricatures if you send in a photo via e-mail.  Check them out, there are bunches of cool things you can get done caricature wise!  So without further ado…

Today was Kassy’s bestfriend Sara’s Bachelorette Party!  Sara marries Steve on the 21st of June…what I believe to be the number one booked wedding day of the year.  Naturally I am not allowed to go to such a party, but since it was partially held at my home, I was able to take a few quick shots before I had to skedattle.  I loved the details, so that’s all I shot was details, details, details…you gotta love them…they’re the glue of a party/wedding!  The ladies are doing many things this evening.  Pure Romance came to our house to show and sell some of their awesome products as well as play some games and have some good ‘ol fun!  It is currently 12:54am and the ladies are still out…no surprise there.  I received a text from Kassy at 12:30am that says, “Still going strong.”  I hope you all had/are having fun and congrats to the bride to be!  “Party On Wayne!”

This past Saturday, I got to do one of those things I don’t get to do too often…be an actual guest at a wedding.  Of course I took my camera, but I only took around 50 pics.  I wanted to hang out and enjoy the wedding and being with family.  Anna is my finace, Kassy’s cousin and is the same age as both of us.  The wedding was held at the Courtyard Marriott in Livonia and the reception was held at the Italian American Banquet Center in Livonia.  The reception was going to be held outside, but due to a little rain, had to quickly be moved indoors.  As luck would have it, the sun was shinning brightly during the ceremony.  The ceremony was short and intimate.  I had a great time.  I wish you all the best Anna and Mike!!!!
