Back in May, I went to Chicago to attend Pictage’s Partner Conference to network and rub elbows with some of the biggest names in the wedding photography industry. The Conference was filmes by the uber talented Ron Dawson of CinematicStudios whom created a few short promotional videos. I am in a couple of them which isn’t that big of a deal, but in one, the famous Mike Colón gives me a little intro. For those of you who know me, you know I like to have fun and make people feel comfortable, so check out my “Jenny Walk” around the 29 second mark of the video. I did this in front of the 50 of us that went out to dinner. I had a blast at PartnerCon and if there is one in Chicago again this year, I’ll definitely be there! Enjoy!

Back on December 23rd, I went with some of my brothers, my dad, and my grandpa to a Detroit Lions game at Ford Field. They played the Kansas City Chiefs and fortunately for us, they won, 25-20. This was my third time going to Ford Field, but my first NFL game I’ve ever been to. As a little added bonus, they had a tribute to Barry Sanders and some other former linemen from when Barry still was playing. It was nice for just the men to hang out together and watch some football…especially during the holiday season. It was a horribly bitter cold day, but that’s just the way it is here in Michigan.

Marcus and Dorian checking out the view.
The view.
All the men (minus me of course) walking around the tunnel before the game. We got there really early, as you can tell.

I updated my blog last night and forgot to change my portfolio link at the top of the page to my website. I will fix this tonight as well as post some pics from my visit to Ford Field in December.
Back in October, I went with some of my family to a place in Dexter, MI called Jenny’s Market. It was a lot of fun. They had so many things to do. There were dozens of families with small children there. There were goats, cows, chickens, donkeys, and horses. They had cider and delicious pumpkin donuts, that we had right before we took the hay ride. The ride was a little bumpy in parts, but was a lot of fun. My nephew Gavin had a great time and I hope we can go back next year. They had hundreds of pumpkins to chose from in many different sizes and they also had this amazing hay maze. The children could either climb on top of this giant mountain of hay, or go inside where they could go through a little maze. It was such a great place to go with family and I can’t wait to go back! And now for the pics!
Seemed weird to me…a calf licking my brother’s leather shoes.
This guy was sweet looking, although he had a gimpy leg.
My brother Andrew giving a donkey a little grub.
They even had frogs!
My brother-in-law Tony and my nephew Gavin at the pony rides.

Gavin went inside the maze…
And on top of the maze.
My sister, Jen and my mom…awwww
My lovely mother…
And my gorgeous fiance Kassy!
Gavin had to work up the courage to feed the goats…
I love Cluck, Clucks!
For all you photographers out there, all these images were shot with a Canon 5D and a 50 f/1.4 lens wide open. I love that combo!
